Untimely penalties are often a sign of not being "ready" to play.

I'm not attack you here. Your opinion is just as valid as anyone else's, and you're free to absolve Garrett of any and all blame. But these improbable losses are starting to stack up under Garrett.

The losses like this stack up against a mentally weak team - it happened under Parcells too who is a HOF coach. I applaud Garrett for getting the team headed in the right direction with the right kind of guys that are solid and like football.

How many times over the past four years have you seen Scandrick get worked by a WR with the game on the line? Not coaching. This is players. When you are playing CB with the game on the line, the other team with no time-outs you can't let the WR get behind you???? No excuse for that. That is situational football that kids know when they are in high school and yet a veteran still struggles with some basic concepts.

If Scandrick has been "getting worked for years", at what point does it speak poorly of the coaching staff's ability to assess talent? After all, they're the ones who think they can coach him up, right?
