It's amazing how Jerry is stepping out of the way during the coach hiring process!

I would gladly send Starbucks gift cards for him to drink ALL the free frappes he would ever want, on my dime, IF it did just that.
you're really flexing that mod money you got around I see, damn you guys are loaded, I told you that a while ago!!!!!!!!!! Jerry has a Yacht, you mods have an entire OCEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $$$$

Look as funny as people try to be I think that's ridiculous to wish death on somebody it's insane by the way if you knew jerry his yacht is a real yacht it has a helicopter pad on it if it starts sinking they're getting in the helicopter and they're coming right away to get into the interview and gaslight all of you and keep disappointing all of you..

Again, as funny as you think it is it's ridiculously wrong and a bit concerning that you would hope that your favorite sports team has it's ownership die because you think somehow it would better your life...  :omg:o_O
Letting go of your anger betters your life.

The anger is reasonable. And thats what people do with their posts. Some use sarcasm, some cynicism others wish death on him.

Who the crap cares? Better out than in.

Dont make stuff so rational and overcomplicated. Life is more then only ratio.

Jerry is not picking the guys interviewed or deciding WHO to hire.
He may do the actual hiring and contracts part, but that is it.
This is all new.

Did I not lead with I know you're trying to be funny I mean I pretty much led with it so you know that I knew what you were trying to be funny but also saying that it that's just dark and jaded type of humor and I think it's wrong..
Jerry treats his team's fans like suckers for decades, yet he's to be treated with sweetness and loving care. That's expecting a lot from whom he's been killing for years minus a 2nd thought. Now, there's a jaded joke for the masses, indeed. Treat him with kindness and sweet, loving care. Sure, why not. ;)

So the idea is that there’s this big group of fans who let someone else dictate how they feel, but how can you call yourself a sucker when it’s obvious the Jones family isn’t going to change? They’ll own the team for a long time, even after Jerry is gone. We’ve seen with the Raiders that losing someone like Davis didn’t change much; not even Tom Brady’s involvement last year helped, and they arguably made worse mistakes than the Cowboys.

So why stick around, keep talking about the Cowboys, and still watch games? If you claim you’re boycotting, not buying jerseys or tickets, yet constantly discuss the team, it’s strange for someone who says they feel duped. If you really think you’re being played, you could cut them out completely—donate your gear, delete accounts tied to the team, block any social media mention of them.

But if you keep engaging, that’s on you.

They’ve never promised anything different; they’ve always operated this way. The irony is that it’s a choice. People spend time here talking Cowboys while insisting they’ve been tricked, but nothing’s changed—they’ve been like this for years, and we choose to stay involved.

If it’s a choice, you’re not really a sucker.

It's not all new ,

sometimes he allows the coaches to hire their own staff, he hired Schottenheimer, but guarantee Schottenheimer is the one that picked Adams and Riley and the rest of the offensive staff, we still don't know the whole truth but sure maybe he encourage Schottenheimer to have Eberflop, even if he was hesitant, and he complied..

Y'all know that Mike McCarthy built his whole staff when he came here and he hired the wrong defensive coordinator then after that debacle Jerry hired Dan Quinn ,that was a better decision ,sometimes it might be good if the owner or GM steps in, and then Mccarthy turns around and lets Kellen Moore go ,and then wanted to call the plays himself, but we all know that Kellen Moore was probably at least slightly better, I mean he is a head coach now and he has a ring so Mike Mccarthy made two bad choices on his staff,

so it doesn't always work out that way..

But I don't want to say it's all new, but compared to the last two defensive coordinators hired in a row that didn't workout possibly they were encouraged by Jerry this looks like yes he's giving Schottenheimer and Parker A little more rope

..

We haven't heard much from Jerry, I don't think we need to hear anything from Jerry during this coaching search for assistant coaches. I wish Jerry could take this approach more to FA and team building, just step out of the way, let the football guys do football work, and you take care of bringing in the money!!!!!

Kudos to Jerry taking a back seat for THIS instance, Kudos to Shotty and staff for their extensive searches, please give your thoughts!!!
I believe the Eagles had a big influence on Jerry

At best, Jerry Jones assessed the information given to him about the coach and agreed he should be added to Brian Schottenheimer's staff. Jones hired him, along with every other hire.

Research is irrelevant. Testimonials are irrelevant. Jones makes all final decisions without exception. Hopefully, any personnel suggestions he agrees to in Year 32 of his self-appointed GM reign will be home runs despite his *rubberstamped* involvement.
Nope. “He’s done it this way for so long so he’s still doing it” doesn’t fly. Idc what he’s done for 30 years, Schotty is the one who chose Coach Parker and that’s just what it is. And now Coach Parker is hand selecting his position coaches

Thank you Schotty!!
I'm not saying the Schotty isn't the architect of the situation around CP, but I believe the overwhelming chorus of criticism for Jerry from the fans and media may have also played a role in this recent behaviour.

Oh I’m sure he was absolutely embarrassed by that filth last season. He took that embarrassment and stepped back allowing Schotty to do the search for DC the correct way

It is all new blue lol
name one time in recent past where this many people were interviewed for any job on staff, or the DC ?
It hasnt happened before and now parker is doing same thing interviewing a lot of people, even college coaches.

Your slant on almost everything you'd like to think I'm saying is merely blatant nonsense but quite imaginative, nevertheless. You'd best pull your nose out of Jerry's fanny before you get effigiated. So, keep analyzing my thoughts to your liking. It demonstrates how tainted and whacky your thoughts are.

A real GM would have stepped in and fired the Special Teams Coach....just another one of those "not paying you to sit on the sofa" thingys.

Yeah.....it's amazing.

Difficult to believe.....very difficult.

Jerry is laying low for sure. However, just because he isn't talking to the press......

Jerry has done this before when the criticism becomes intense. At the same time, his sycophants attempt to convince us that he is a changed man, he is delegating authority.

Just watch what happens if the Cowboys have a strong start to the 2026 season. If they start 3-1, Jerry will rip that mike right out of the hands of his coach and immediately explain how he orchestrated their recent success.
All you have to do is watch them. If nothing happens differently in FA. We all know who is still in charge. If they sign someone in the legal tampering period, and I dont mean someone for 2 million a season, then its business as usual.

It's obvious that the new coaching staff was picked by Schotty and Parker.
