It's amazing how Jerry is stepping out of the way during the coach hiring process!

He's over his head in the coaching hiring process bc he stopped paying attention to what's going on around the league a long time ago. He's a GM in title only. Lets not pretend he knew anything about Christian Parker before somebody recently briefed him.

Nah. Make no mistake, Jerry has final say on everything. He is fully aware of who they are interviewing and how the interviews are going. He's just not being very vocal about it.

Second of all, I wouldnt imagine you would be upset if they dont do anything in FA. Youll find an excuse and say they are having a fantastic offseason, just like you did last year.

Actually, you're completely wrong,

I am not sticking up for Jerry,

this is my own viewpoint my own perspective that I take from my own history into following the Cowboys since 1981,

what I say is about the team, has nothing to do with Jerry Jones,

so I'm taking in everything I know about the NFL since I've been watching ,again for as long as I can remember, when I was 10 years old and now I'm 56, and I'm giving you my perspective and my opinions, it has nothing to do with sticking up for Jerry or not.

I am not on any side of that..

That's my point you don't get it but if I don't agree with you then I must be kissing Jerry's fanny, that's how you guys see it if I don't grab the pitchforks and the torches and join your club and get a special little tattoo that says why Jerry on it then on the other side that's not how it works I don't choose a side I have my own opinions formed from my own experience and my own eyes....

This is more about the Dallas Cowboys as a team versus the other 31 teams and how I see the decisions made here versus what I watch around the league and for the most part it's not that different but you're going to tell me how you can only watch maybe five teams and they have done it a little differently and that's the way they should do it so now it's being done completely wrong completely backwards it's all a circus but you're not looking at what would be the majority versus the minority which would be an anomaly versus the norm..

Not saying that I miss going to the NFC championship games, or the Super Bowl, I understand the drought...

I understand what's going on there's been mistakes made just like other teams have made mistakes there's some bad decisions and maybe the worst part is the things that being said they should just be quiet and stop talking..

is what it is but my perspective is mine...

Well just because he understands it, in the past or even recent history says that he doesn't listen or he meddles, and then he wanted his way, and that's just how it is.

sometimes that works out, I mean Dan Quinn and K. Moore were far better than Mike Nolan and Mike Mccarthy as actual play calling coordinators,

so Jerry got that right he didn't hire Nolan he let Mike Mccarthy hang himself and then he made up for it by hiring Dan Quinn that's Jerry mike Mccarthy also in the end wanted to play calling back and told Jerry that he wanted to move on for Moore and jerry gave him that.

But in this case Jerry sees that last year he made the mistake, and now he's giving his coaches more rope, there's nothing wrong with that.

just acknowledge it that he is seeing it but he's not interfering with it, he's allowing this growth at allowing his head coach and now his coordinators actually have some authority to build it the way they want.

That's what we need to acknowledge in this case it's slightly different he is Watching and approving whereas he could just have stepped in and hired Gannon,
which by the way you all didn't like that decision but Green Bay, that's OK for that organization do it because they're not run by Jerry.
so man, it must be a good decision, same thing with white cotton getting promotion somewhere else, you guys didn't want that,

so, Jerry didn't do it but if Jerry did it it would have been a mistake, but when other teams do it, they're allowed to have a wait and see versus Jerry would have been piled on heavily if he'd have done that...

However,

phase two let's see if he also does this with the offseason moves let's see how much he's gonna help his coaches by going a little bit beyond where he might feel comfortable..

I wouldn’t say he hasn’t been involved. But lower level coaching hires don’t deliver much spotlight.
