It's beginning to look a lot like December.....

Ok we know it's preseason, and nothing counts. Everybody is vanilla. No gameplanning. Yadda yadda yadda!

But to me we look like a team with no direction. It reminds me so much of December it's not even funny. I could care less if we win or lose a preaseason game. IMO we look like a team that thinks we can just turn it on come Cleveland. Wade needs to have a come to Jesus meeting with this team. I see NO passion from anyone other than Witten and Zach. I KNOW PEOPLE IT'S PRESEASON, but for the love of God at least play like you want to!

The ho hum attitude of Wade is wearing out it's welcome for me. Don't get me wrong...I still like Wade as a coach.....but I get real nervous when I think back to his comments after the Giants game last year, and that they are last years champions, etc. He's always been a great D coordinator....but has he ever shown that he is a really good head coach?

This is not an over reaction. It's something that has me real worried as fan. Hey, give me a break I don't want my Fall ruined!

We just seem to think we are entitled to something. Like last December after the Green Bay game we shut it down and thought we could just turn it on come Jaunary.

If you think about it......we've been watching the same football since last December......straight through preseason. Penalties..(I guess those are on Wade since mistakes are on him) Poor tackling, bad coverage, etc.

"It's early....we still have time." Well get it done!

Give me a break..... I just want to see the team we all think it can be. And, selfishly want to be entertained.....even if it is only preseason.

well it was raining and 50 degrees and the team was using the heater on the sideline!! Rest assured they will need no heater friday night.

You're right... the team should be concerned about penalties and mistakes. Last week the first team O and D played very well. This week, they didn't. However, in both games, mistakes were all over the place and that needs to be stopped.

I did kind of expect this kind of result in this game though. Last year, we just embarassed Denver in Dallas and Shannahan was aggrivated as heck, you could tell. The whole team might not have said it, but they were all pissed about Wade Phillips running too many blitzes and "game planning" for the game last year.

I fully expected Denver to come out more prepared than usual for a preseason game and they did. They did NOT want a repeat of last year's game and they took measures to make sure it didn't happen.

Combine that with the fact they they felt like they could "test" themselves against a super bowl contender and it's no surprise that they came out flying around and playing well.

Remember how bad we looked in the last two preseason games last year? It was awful. If we play well in the third game all of this will go away and frankly, I'd rather play well in the third than in the first two like last year. Last year in the third game (Houston), we looked terrible. Because we had looked good against Denver though, people let it slide.

honestly though, didnt we have the same type of reaction last year after the loss to the texans in the preseason. Werent people going crazy calling for players and coaches heads, calling romo a fluke etc....

I would love to read some of that stuff.

I really like your post.

I don't think anyone WANTS to see Garrett or Wade tipping their hand in a pre-season game and showing exotic blitzes or new offensive schemes.

And even the final score in pre-season is meaningless. Most of us realize this.

All I want to see is improvement in the penalties and turnover departments. That in itself will lead to better execution.

I do expect to see a much cleaner game vs. the Texans.
