It's cool how Barry Church is being used now

He's doing a good job so far this year.

I really like Church and I honestly love that we're back in the 43... the Defense just seems like ts playing better so far this year. Seems like we're getting a little bit more pressure and it seems like there arent as big of hole for opposing running backs. Of course its just two games in, but i like what ive seen thus far. And that mostly with a make shift front 4. imaging if they actually spent high draft picks on good DL prospects....

Basically nobody he can get his hands on escapes. He is a tremendous tackler -- very rare in today's NFL.

He is killing it. To me, he has been the biggest bright spot on the entire team through two weeks. Many of his big stops come even when he is back in cover two. He just reacts so fast and flies to the ball it looks like he was at the LOS.

barry is the closest thing to woodson we have had since woody retired..

same build , same height, same square up hits...he will be a keeper for years to come if he can stay healthy.

I have no real gripe about the defense really, except the corners could play more aggressively, them slants routes be eating us alive man.


People keep forgetting. The Chiefs are NOT a bad team. Yes we lost, but it's not like we lost to a bad team. I rather we lose this game then when it because it puts our mistakes under a bigger microscope.
Our offense needs to get going; needs to stick with the run. We were never down by a lot, we could afford to stick to the run.

Our defense bends but don't break but eventually if you keep bending something it will break.

I remember the 2007 patriots[number one offense] went up against the steelers [Number 1 defense] and the score was like 52-17. D means nothing if you can't put up points

I've been leading the Church fan club for a few years now. I told people his speed isn't an issue. I also told people not to worry about coming back from his injury. He seems faster now. What's most impressive is he's rarely out of position and the guy is a solid tackler and he can recognize a play as it developes. Boys I think we got ourselves a real safety here.
