It's D-Day for Marion Barber

Well, not really, but it is April 18 and the signing period for restricted free agents like Barber ends today. Still, Dallas would have seven days to match any other teams' offer for Barber. OR is April 18 a hard deadline and Barber's stuck with his $2.5 mil tender until his contract's renegotiated? Is it possible that there could be a team out there who is willing to pay some or all of Barber's recently made contract demands? Things could get a lot more interesting within the next week if another team should throw their hat into a Marion Barber 'sweepstakes'.

I'd let him test the waters with any team in the top ten picks for a first. I think he's a good player and he's got alot of heart, but he's not a 40 million dollar player.

I'd even listen to teams in the top 15, we'd have to find a veteran but you could do that, hell oakland has to cut Jordan, he's got back issues, but he's a good back and he's a veteran.. you need someone to help the rookie, bot cary the load, hell we're a passing team anyway.
