It's obvious now Wade was the goat when SD lost to the Pats...

In that '06 playoff game when the Chargers had the AFC #1 seed.

At the end of that first half, DESPITE keeping Brady off-balance throughout, he decided to play prevent on the Pats 2 minute offense...the Pats got an easy TD.

We all thought it was Marty Ball's call...but it's obvious it isn't anymore.

Wrong. Defense allowed 1 TD all game. If you watched the game, you would've seen Yoko Romo throw a pick-six to lose the game when all he had to do was get to the red zone for 3 points.

Yeah-that 1 TD given up was when it hurt THE MOST.

My point is that it shouldn't have. For a team that apparently scores 25+ ppg, holding your opponent to 13 should equate to blowout numbers.

I tend to agree, after the long reception on Newman Wade got away from the game plan.

in that game, Wade's DB got the INT, but then instead of going down, he went for YAC and fumbled back to NE, who took the second chance in for a score.

So I guess it is Wade's fault that his DB fumbled the ball.

Again-I was talking about his decision to PLAY PREVENT at the end of that 1st half that allowed the Pats to score with ease.

Brady was just getting knocked around a good one throughout. Wade should have stuck to exactly what was WORKING.

wow, the first half....big deal. When the game was on the line, his defense made the INT, but then his player tried to do too much and fumbled. Wade called a great defensive game that day.

My point was that this isn't the first time we've seen Wade being conservative like this when time is winding down.

He did it at the end of today's game. He did it last year against the Giants in the playoffs. I was just pointing out another example of him getting conservative when time is winding down.
