4 percentage points. They have all day and they can't agree on a four percentage point difference. I want to know whos responsible for holding this up today. Snyder and Bowlen were all ready to go and get this done. Lurie? Jones?

I guess you missed the fact that the owners voted unanimously to reject the PA's offer so there's really nowhere to place any blame. You kust have to pick sides!

Sorry in that case. I'm just pissed off and looking for a reason to hate Jones and Lurie cause they are in better cap shape!

Snyder sold his own team out then. You'd think they'd at least compromise at 58%.

Isn't this just an arbitrary deadline? Can't both sides come up with an agreement next week and things go back to normal? It is still too early for doom and gloom. The next year may be a little choppy, but the league may end up better for it in the long run.

No because once free agency starts theres no going back for this year.

Nope...he just may have actually saved it.

Yes, there could be cuts by the truck load and the next couple of years may be bad...it's not like he's trying to repeat as a Super Bowl winner.

This way he can quickly take the cap hits and start fresh with a new prespective.

i don't think those 4 points are the big obsticle here. i think what is considered revenue is really a bigger issue. i don't think they are close on that either.once a few guys realize the big money ain't coming this year i think it will get done

You are also talking about 4% points EACH YEAR over the ENTIRE length of the extension.

So it's not "just" 4% points as you make it sound.

I'm so angry right now that after work I think I'm going to get drunk and look for a barfight. Its either that or put a fist through my apartment wall and I don't want that to happen as I've already broken my hand once doing that (during the Giants game this year).

This whole deal was an elaborate scheme orchestrated by Jerry Jones in order to screw Danny-boy and the Commanders.

Well, at least you're being a rational skins fan. All the ESPN reports last night said that Snyder was one of the 9 who met last night--& they were UNANIMOUS. The vote today was UNANIMOUS. Hey--I live in the DC area, & even here UNANIMOUS means what it means everywhere else!

The one to blame for the skins cap mess is Danny Boy. He's been warned for years that he would eventually have to pay for all his "cleverness" in trying to finagle the cap. It's finally caught up with him. Apparently he just thought he was smarter than everyone else in thinking up these schemes. (There may have been a reason why other teams didn't pull those shenanigans--because they had learned the hard way!)

That's what I originally suspected but I'm not that far gone.

I can't talk at extremeskins right now because all I will get is ridiculous spin about how this was planned all along and how no cap in 2007 is going to save our team.
