It's really going to take a tank job not to win the division

I have been looking at the schedule of us and Philly since this is now a 2 team race and it is really going to be hard for us not to win this division.

Oakland is just horrible, they lost at home today to freaking Tennessee with Fitzpatrick at QB since Locker is hurt. Even Opie cant blow this game, about as close to a lock left on the schedule as it gets.

Washington is terrible also and their season is over, plus you got all the infighting. Dont see how we lose to such a messed up team like that.

Chicago and Green Bay are going to be tougher, but even if Rogers is back it is going to be his first game in a while and he should have some rust, plus its a home game for us where we have played very well this season. Chicago is a road game and will be our hardest game left on the schedule. If we can get 1 of these, we will be sitting pretty.

Then we close out with Philly. Unless they run the table, we could very well have clinched the division before this game if we only have 1 more loss. Plus that game is at home for the first time in forever and we should have the tiebreaks on Philly so they would actually need to be a game infront of us to steal the division.

Like I said, barring a monumental collapse which would include losing multiple games to teams with losing records, it is going to be very hard for us not to win this division.

What's philly's remaining schedule? I think it will come down to the last game. Eagles v Cowboys for the division.

If we beat the Commanders which is a good possibility, if we are one game ahead of the Eagles at the time of the last game, we will have clinched on basis of division record. Right now we are 4-0, they are 3-2.

Still, if anyone can find a way to screw this up, it is us.

I'm all-in now. This Giants game was my apex...either lose and destruct or go for it if a win. I can't turn back now. Bittersweet would be more injuries with just enough to back into a division win(and first round loss) and Garrett's job security.

Actually, it doesn't take much to lose the division. Just finish one game worse than the Eagles.

If the Eagles go 4-1 the remainder of the way but the Cowboys only go 3-2 in that timespan, the Eagles win the division.

You just never know how it's going to go... that's why you play the games. I will say, that Philly could quickly find itself in trouble even though they are in a favorable stretch of 4 of the last 6 at home. Their 2012 last place finish game against Arizona suddenly doesn't look so fun anymore. Detroit can easily come in and hang 40 on you Any Given Sunday with the weapons they have. And of course, for them NOT to have to win a game in our house on the last day, they would need to be a full two games ahead of us.

But to make this happen, we are probably going to have to beat Chicago OR Green Bay. Just beating the bad teams may not get it done.

I like how after a win we starting counting our chickens before they hatch. This Cowboys team is capable of losing every single one of those games and given their track record of erratic and unpredictable performance the odds are they will lose at least two of the remaining five. The Eagles could very easily lose two of theirs as well so I'd call it a toss up.

Let's keep it real. The Cowboys and Eagles are both 6-5. Yes, the Cowboys hold most of the important tiebreaker advantages, but both teams tied at 6-5 means it is VERY possible for the Eagles to win the division.

It's not as if the Cowboys are 7-4 and the Eagles are 5-6.

Please, let's just focus on the Raiders. "Pathetic": teams have looked all-world against us before. Best way to win the division is to not take any opponent for granted. Oakland beat us in the preseason. Oh I know, it was just the preseason, but it is still our guys against their guys. And if Pryor plays, he will give our D trouble w/ his mobility...

Cowboys is a team that can find defeat in the mist of a victory. That Detroit game has seared a massive hole in my brain.

2 weeks ago, I thought the EaGirls had significantly easier remaining schedule than us. I think it's pretty much same now. Cards and Vikings are playing better ball. Chicago, GB and Deadskins games doesn't look as hard. Especially the Deadskins game.

As usual, I think it's going to come down to the last game of the season.

Saturday many were looking to fire all the coaches, one squeeker of a win a day later and now the division is ours? If there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is to not look ahead and/or take potential wins for granted and that stands particularly true for this team.

We get it. If the Cowboys don't soar like Icharus...Garret should burn like the sun. Or, more preferably in your agenda...he should burn in hell. Forever. And here sits post 4,501 repeating the same stale message.

It's become clear that the path to your happiness would not lie in Cowboy success, but in Garret-induced failure.

Have you thought to get away from your hate for a moment...maybe step outside...go for a date...or even maybe a walk? You are becoming a caricature of yourself and it's becoming embarrassing.

Never, ever underestimate the lengths this team will sink to, to disappoint its fans.

Very good point. The Cowboys play to the level of their competition and it keeps the games very close.

Cowboys can have this division locked up before the Eagles game if they take care of business.
