It's starting to look like Manziel is falling out of the top 10

I will be shocked if Jerry actually makes the pick if he's available, I would not be against it though. If he's avail @16 I'm betting that Jerry trades out.

Another Manziel thread.. *sigh*

Even if he somehow gets past JAX and CLE I seriously doubt he gets past Minny at 8 or the Titans at 11. One of those teams will pick him up based on jersey sales/fan base excitement alone imo.

Don't think Johnny Football Manziel makes it past the 11th choice, Dallas will have to trade up with Tennessee to get him, otherwise he doesn't make it past the Rams @ 13.

According to the Chron's Texans reporter, it's down to either Manziel or Clowney for the No. 1 pick.

BTW: Is there some sort of source on this?

I don't see him as a top 20 player to be honest...but, his hype should get him selected before Dallas' pick

If jersey sales were a factor Tim Tebow would be on a roster. He generates much more in jersey revenue than his salary lol. Consider ticket sales too, and I can't see him generating less than ~$3m in profit (considering his salary, not jersey production costs or expense per fan in stadium lol) for a team. I'm honestly shocked a team is not cashing in on his celebrity as a 3rd QB or something.

JFF's draft status is as polarizing as his character. I've heard as early as the #1 overall pick and as late as the 3rd round. Really have no idea when it comes to this guy.

How can someone fall out of a top 10 that he most likely was never in to begin with?

someone will grab him; now IT may NOT be in the top ten but it will happen. I agree that realistically he should not be a first round pick. NONE of the QBs this year are really worth a first round pick.

That is what makes this year's draft so interesting. No one really has a clue. Everyone is guessing including the GMs and scouts. All that film, all those combines, etc. and still questions remain for almost every player except for OT Matthews, who seems to be the safest pick. Boom or bust for a lot of the top picks.

I personally do not want to see Philly get Manziel. That would be disastrous for us Cowboy fans in my opinion. I think Manziel will be a star. I could even see the Giants picking Manziel with their top pick. I could easily see SF trading up to take Manziel. SF has a lot of ammo to use. I could see Seattle being interested in Manziel.

If he is there at 16, I think the Cowboys pick him. I wouldn't criticize them for doing it either.

The OP doesn't need sources. He's his own source.

So Philly finds its franchise QB and then immediately starts a search for another one by blowing it's high first rounder a guy who may not be physically capable of making it in the NFL,,,? We should be so lucky!!!

I have a feeling Foles is a one-year wonder or it is more Chip Kelly's system than Foles' ability. Also, I think Chip Kelly and his offense along with Manziel would be a stronger opponent. Kelly would know how to maximize Manziel. I also think Kelly prefers a mobile QB in his system.
