Time to do something uber-dramatic like fire this entire staff and bring in a "Jimmah" type with skins on the wall and fire in his belly. The closest thing to him in today's NCAA game, that would get immediate attention and respect of the fans, organization, and most importantly the players, is Nick Saban. And trust me, this sucks to admit this as I'm a lifelong TN Vols fan. Sources say the deal for him to go down to Austin to replace Mack Brown, is all but done, so Jerrah better intercept him now! I think the Saban mystique would attract some free agents and his talent evaluation skills would come in awfully handy in April in the war room. Keep about an 8 player nucleus intact and let's get relevant again for 2015-16.

Didn't Saban try his chances in the NFL already?

It's definitely something like 89.. Like new OWNERS.

I cant see Jerry gutting the team. Not when the team is right around .500 and he can spew his mindless drivel about how the team is "real close" *wink*.....and fans actually believe his nonsense and buy tickets.

Never have I felt as hopeless about this franchise.

I wish. But nope, Jerry has done a fantastic job with this "8-8 Era" of Cowboys football. Good enough to keep them in the playoff hunt and to give the homers hope. Never bad enough to hit rock bottom to make real changes.

Jerry should be commended for this genius strategy. He should write a book on how he did it.
