You never know what you may find, now days with guys in arena, CFL and Europe I'd be willing to have tryouts and see if someone can come in and impress. What do we have to lose but an overpaid kicker?

I hope everyone realizes that Vandy's salary for the entire season is guaranteed since he is a vested veteran who was on the roster for the first game.

Cutting Vandy and signing anyone else would not only cost the Cowboys money, but it would also accelerate the remainder of Vandy's signing bonus and cost the Cowboys cap room against next year's cap.

The offseason is a different story, though...
