I still don't think the Cowboys Improved themselves with the addition of Drew Bledsoe. I said this when they signed him. I felt there were better Free Agents out there, one being Kurt Warner. The main reason I didn't really think Drew Bledsoe was the answer is because of the continuous breakdowns of the Pokes Offensive Line especially on Flozell Adam's side. I do think if the Cowboys are to have any sucess this year than Flozell is going to have to step his level of play up quite considerably.

Well, I can't say I've been a big Bledsoe fan for the past couple of years. My buddy is a big Bills fan and hates him...So I wasn't too happy with the signing either...But heck, I want one of the youguns to be the starter anyway...

And I'll STOCK to my guns on that too !

Personally I don't think there was much choice of decent FA QBs out there.

I think Warner would struggle just as much as bledsoe if our line continues to play as they did this past game. That is not saying anything about Warner but if he was behind center and teh Arizona D was putting the same pressure on him...well we seen how he did in St.Louis after his injuries.

To be honest I think there are only a handfull of real Bledsoe fans (other then him being a cowboys player and we as cowboys fans rooting for the team).

I think we all want a young starting Franchise (or perceived as franchise) QB to take over. Just not sure if we have that right now. We have an undrafted guy from a small school who is not the prototypical size and not a cannon for an arm. We have a project in Henson.

So time will tell but I doubt you will find one cowboy fan out there that would rather not have a young franchise QB on our team...but at this time we have an old vet and two question marks and the vet QBs that were on the market were not exactly top notch in the prime guys that really peaked my interest.

What worries me more at this point is the RT and FS position. We have one guy we know the coach does not trust, and for good reason imo, in Tucker.
We have a guy that by all reports has turned the corner in ability but his past and current injury problems does not leave me confident he can handle a whole season. And we got a rook who in time may turn out ok but still will need time to adjust not only to the nfl game but the switch in sides.

You know, just about every time I read one of your posts, I agree with it. :D

Good post! You summarize my thoughts about the QB position perfectly!
