As long as idiots try and treat a weapon as some kind of sentient thing that can fire on its own instead of focusing on those that pull the trigger, little will get done.
The primary function of a gun is to maim or kill a target. Criminals use guns to kill people. Your entire lane angle is neutered

And please do bring up the bunk comparison to cars killing people.

American hypocrisy.
so what country are you from?

One dumb enough to think taking away guns ends violence?

Got news for you: Humans have been able to kill each other in job lots long before gunpowder was invented.

Only morons blame an inanimate object for what the person did.

Its like blaming the SUV for the drunk driver.

I do that because idiots like the gun grabbers have no response to it.

A gun is built to fire a projectile.

Only so called educated idiots try and blame it for what the person did.

He'll come out with a B.P. level "I'm sorry" video and no suspension is my guess.
I feel this video is being overblown but he's showing he isn't the brightest of the bunch.
Going to lose millions over this drama though for sponsors/no max deal with conditions hit.
He basically was suspended 8 games the first time around. He will most definitely be suspended again.

The primary function of a firearm is to push a projectile through the barrel.

And of course you have no answer for why a SUV and a gun is different because there is none where it matters.

BOTH of them can become dangerous in the hands of someone dangerous.

NEITHER will do anything at all without a person controlling them.

Don't know why I bother trying to educate someone who knows so little.

Wrong.

What is the function of the projectile?

Speak.

For the few people following this thread, I stopped taking idiots seriously years ago.

So called educated idiots even earlier.

What is the function of the accelerator on the SUV?

Speak.

You’re already checkmated, lulz.

The accelerator functions to move the vehicle which was created with the primary purpose of serving as transport.

The trigger functions as the mechanism to shoot a projectile that was created for the primary purpose of killing or maiming a target.

You are half amusing and half pathetic.

But if it works for your self image I guess that's all that matters, right?

The only thing equal parts amusing and pathetic was that tired and sloppily thought through “should we ban all cars now?!?!” analogy that your ilk keep trotting out.

The purpose of a projectile, someone was asking?

-Hunting for food
-Self defense of one's self, one's family, and one's property (The violent crime rate is highest in state's where the 2nd Amendment is most foolishly under threat)
-As the founding fathers understood it...the 'projectile' is absolutely essential to stop the natural and inevitable encroach of governmental tendencies towards tyranny. That was in fact priority #1.

But yes, "projectiles" are a complex issue where anyone with a heart cannot help but be conflicted. We see many heart-wrenching tragedies. Removing 'projectiles' has a certain appeal.

Bigger picture: I was born in California, not far from San Francisco. Graduated from UCLA. Now? I will not willingly return to the San Francisco or the L.A. area. I will not return to Portland where I once lived. Or Seattle. I will not visit New York, Chicago. Businesses are shuttering. Feces and drug needles fills the streets. Your very life is at risk if you want to just shop, dine, or walk down the street. Yet these are governed by the supposed "enlightened ones"...the ones so "eager to protect"

-Hunting for food
-Self defense of one's self, one's family, and one's property Wrong. You’re listing various reasons why one would have a gun. The purpose of a bullet is to maim or kill a target. End of story.
(The violent crime rate is highest in state's where the 2nd Amendment is most foolishly under threat) Lool, cite your source…and it better not be some lame arse www.2ndAmendment4eva.com website masquerading around as some impartial info source. The facts are states with the highest firearm mortality rates have the weakest gun restrictions.
-As the founding fathers understood it...the 'projectile' is absolutely essential to stop the natural and inevitable encroach of governmental tendencies towards tyranny. That was in fact priority #1. The Founding Fathers were from the 1700s and never envisioned automatic weapons, school/mall shootings, et cetera. Not to mention, it was written during a time when the country was trying to establish its own government apart from Great Britain and the overreaching hands of the British government. The only people that misinterpret this now are the sincerely ignorant or townie militia types that try and find correlations like someone that sifts through religious scripture and says “see, it’s talking about AI here!!!”

Where will you move? Florida? Where they’re banning books and keeping children ignorant and shaping them into mindless autotoms? To Texas? Where they are trying to pass legislation to varnish history and remove the word “slavery” out of history books in favor of “involuntarily relocated?”

hilarious when you prod the fanatics where it hurts.

The horror that is now San Francisco is due to those kinds of fanatics.

Or where a todler killed by a ganger is supposedly not important enough to demand a life sentence.

as regards the revisionist garbage about the Founding Fathers, Washington warned about parties. I would say he was dead on there.

I would guess certain supposedly educated people do not believe self defense is a human right, correct?

Those are the ones that pave the way for tyrants and dictators.

The Holocaust; Rwanda, and so many other examples of those unable to defend themselves.
