wait just a billy darn second... are those numbers accurate?? I mean that 3-cone drill would have been the best at the combine out of EVERYONE.

Some scouts said if Battle was able to do what he did at his pro day during the combine in front of everyone, he could've put himself in contention for a 1st round pick. One scout said it was the best workout he has ever seen.

But I haven't gotten a chance to look at the video (thanks to a dial-up connection), but maybe you or someone else can take a look at his pro-day video and see if you believe in some of those scout's hype.

Wow that was indeed an impressive workout.

My favorite thing about him...in 441 carries he was tackled behind the LOS 6 times. I know they play in different systems and everything but Marshawn Lynch was tackled behing the LOS 25 times THIS SEASON and at the LOS 12 times. Brian Leonard this season, on 93 carries was tackled behind the LOS 6 times and at the LOS another 6 times. Tony Hunt, 32 behind and 16 at the LOS this season. In 2005 Michael Bush was stopped behind the line 13 times and at the LOS 19 times.

How in the world did nobody take a chance on this guy in the draft? I'm glad he's a Cowboy and I'm really hoping he has what it takes to make the team. Our draft and UDFA class this year are both terrific, I have no idea how anyone can be disappointed.

He looked amazing in that video. The only thing where he didn't look outstanding was catching the ball, and he still looked solid in that area.

Runs pretty tall but he did seem to know how to drop his shoulder when its needed TT better have found some moves or hes not making it outta camp.

I have been on board for a while. This kid is tough and has very good speed.

I would also like to see Dallas make a move in the UDFA at WR with Andre Caldwell (Florida), Jarrett Hicks (Texas Tech) or Rhema McKnight (ND)
