I think come late December, all three will be in playoff contention, to varying degrees.
I don't buy that the Giants are finished, and Dallas only beat the Eagles by an eyelash. 3 teams could still make it.
I'll be very surprised if 2 NFCE teams aren't in the playoffs.
Look at the rest of the conference. The NFCW is awful. The South has 2 good teams, one which will be in the playoffs, and one which will fight with the loser of Dallas/Philly/NYG in the NFCE race for 2 wildcard spots. And the north has one good team in Minn. GB is likely finished if Dallas wins this weekend.
Which brings us to the interesting situation where, if Dallas wins this weekend, we're getting awfully close to their being only 7 true contenders for 6 playoff spots. Does anyone think SF or Chicago is going to get on track enough to win 9 or 10 games? GB, if they lose this weekend? Carolina? If those teams continue to struggle, along with the NYG, Dallas could all but clinch a playoff spot by Thanksgiving night.
Not jumping the gun because I expect a bad stumble soon, but just pointing out the big divide right now between the teams at the top and bottom of the conference.
