Michael C. Wright, of the Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars LB Mike Peterson (knee) is expected to return for the season opener, according to head coach Jack Del Rio.

I'm not concerned about putting more risk on a player," Del Rio said. "I just want to make good decisions to help our football team win. I'll have to see and know that [Peterson] can help us win. It's still our belief that he'll be able to do that."

It seems it is still speculation until practice next week. It would make for easier sledding with him out though.
