Jake Ferguson, what happened?

Another guy Jerry rushed to overpay. Ferg should be cooking in this offense. Is it because he is don't a bunch of blocking? But he has 75 receptions so that can't be the reason. He is second on the team in receptions. Only 3 receptions away from the team leading George Pickens who has 78 receptions.

It's like Ferg has lost what little speed he had. I haven't seen any athletic ability from him this season.

Yeah me too. I was like what. Ferg really had one decent season and we rushed to over pay him lol. Though we could cut him after next season and not have any dead cap. So I guess Jerry did protect his butt with Bland and Ferg contracts. (Both could be cut after next season).

I am guessing an injury or something. He's lost a step that he couldn't afford to lose.

When he catches the ball he looks as slow as the older version of Jason Witten.

Also, Ferguson has not protected the ball very well the last couple of years from defenders on contact.

His first two years in Dallas he had 0 fumbles and averaged 10.4 yards per catch.

His last two years in Dallas he has had 7 fumbles (4 lost) and averaged 7.8 yards per catch.

It’s astounding to see another player Jerry paid only to regress somewhat after. Ferguson, Steele, Bland, Diggs and I don’t know about the concern with Luepke. Jerry is either cursed or an idiot. And we are just hostage to the situation.

I like Ferg, but I am guessing he has played a lot of this year banged up.

TEs take a beating in the NFL as they cannot dodge LB contact as well as a RB. Some handle it better than others.

He lost like 10 steps since his rookie season. The sadder thing is our 2nd round TE couldn't beat him out and looks worse.

I like Ferg.. but these fumbles are getting ridiculous.

The 7.4 yards is not him tho.. he runs the play and Dak throws it to him.

I guess the thing that makes it not look great is he doesn't seem to getting much YAC.

I would like to see more of Spann-Ford.. although I must admit I have no idea if he is a good blocker.
