Great question. I didnt realize Hasselbeck was still in the league until we played the colts last year! Just saw he signed a 1 yr $3mil extension as well. Sit on the bench and make money!

He's made $12.5 million. If he invested his money wisely, he doesn't have to work anymore in his life. If you're a modest person living a modest life, what's $8-$10 more million?
I admire him for being honest and getting out when he has no heart for the game. He's only cheating himself and his teammates if he just hangs around for the money because he may be called in to play then what? He'll get killed if he's playing half-heartedly.
