No way.
I commented to my son early in the game that it was curious to me that a quality team and a quality organization would stay with Plummer as long as Denver has.
The guy is fortunate to be in a place where he is surrounded by good players and coaches. He has never been more than an average player. Other than a little mobility he has nothing on most NFL QB's - even very average ones.

When he was the QB of the Cardinals we ran into him one night a Denny's restaurant in Mesa (Phoenix suburb). He was on a date. To his credit, it was very late at night and nothing else was open.
He was telling his date how wonderful he was and at one point he said, "I'm kind of surprised no one is asking me for my autograph."
To which I replied, "maybe it's because you suck."

hell no....unless we get a legitimate up and comer, no more FA QB's....draft a young one to compete with Romo and let's go with it.
Quite a few teams are going with young QB's this year, so there should be quite a few vets available if you really want to go that route.

Well, now let me think about that for a moment... Neither Jerry nor Bill is worth squat when it comes to judging QBs: Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson, Vinny Testeverde, Drew Henson, Drew Bledsoe, Clint Stoerner, Ryan Leaf... and we still don't know about Tony Romo. Not exactly a great track record there.
Maybe we should wait until Parcells leaves before drafting a QB.

Look at Schaub, Volek, and Feeley a couple years ago. Dallas has never been a good QB drafting team. Look at its history for every Aikman, and Staubach there is Steve Walsh, Pueller, Laufenberg, Garrett, Romo, Henson, Quincy Carter, Clint Stoerner, Chad Hutchinson. Why do you think we always tried to sign a retread to be a back up because we alwyas are hoping a another situation like the Aikman pick falls into our lap.
