He dialed up the ol' Hail Mary. Somewhere, Roger was watching and smiled.

What we saw was historic.

Hurts wound up the ol' cannon, stepped up to his own 30-yard line and launched that football with all his might, in pristine weather conditions.....

Only for that pass to flutter and bounce harmlessly at the Chiefs 20-yard line.

The ball traveled 50 yards, people.

He launched it as far as he could, with a Super Bowl title on the line....

And it traveled 50 yards.

yea its pretty hard to throw when your center is in your way and your plant foot lands on top of him
