Jamal Lewis sold his Baltimore house and moved out of the area once the season ended.

Well, that's a pretty clear sign he doesn't expect to be there long-term. The franchise tag is a greater possibility. "If I end up back in Baltimore, I'll just rent an apartment for six months or less," Lewis said.

If the bus is heading for retirment he would be a good pick up for Pittsburgh.

I think they are fine w/ Parker, Haynes and Staley

Staley was injured last year and this year. Haynes is a FB. Change of scenery and shared time could really help Lewis get up to speed again.

I would be wary of writing him off because a lot of people did the same to Ricky Williams and he got it together by the end of the season.

Lewis could be a dominate back again if he lost about 30 lbs, He looked like an OT this year.

Exactly........ He's done. If anyone saw him attempt to run this year, you'd agree.

I think another year to have a real rehab, hard to rehab in jail. and another year removed from the injury along with a change of scenery would help him come back to agreat back.

I disagree. I get to see a couple Ravens games living in the area. People wrote him off because his horrible start but he had a couple good games at the end of the season. He looked like a solid runner, maybe not a fulltime starter but I definately would not say he is done.

I think he'll find a fit somewhere.

You're right - we disagree. The guy had like 2 something yards per carry. He was AWFUL and in a contract year to boot. No thanks.

Can you say Eddie George.

Look at his game logs for the last few games he played. His yards per carry were not bad at all.

4.2 yards per carry in his last 5 games. He looked like he was getting back into his grove.

i seriously doubt Lewis is done. He's not even 27 yet. Eddie George? Please. Dude will be back, and be a good RB.

Big Bill resurected a RB whose initials were OJ and rode him to the SB. JJ is a fine runner but small. Jamal is a power runner and Bill likes power and smash mouth ball control. Wonder what his price would be for three years? Low base and lots and lots of performace incentives which Jerrah would love to pay if they were for the playoff yardage, geting to the SB. Playing 16 regular season games, then a growing bonus per play off game.

Of course we would need a good, better best OL to go with a runner if we wanted to win.

Thanks Sarge, I will take him if we can work a deal that makes sence. Play for pay. He can be an old school RB for us and so long as Bill is here old school is SOP for Dallas.
