If he's under 300 pounds, why not?

It's not like he beat a woman up on a bed full of guns or flunked his 6th drug test. The Cowboys have given chances to worse.

Why not give him a tryout? He'll do it for free. I'm all for it.

He's lost 50 pounds and he's been training. Give him a chance. Doesn't hurt to look.

Agree. AT least he , if he did it, wrote an intelligent letter.......

Maybe they can use the money they saved on Carr to fly this guy in for a workout?

Why not? It is due to time restraints. It would be a total waste of time to read this letter and to even have him workout would be a total waste. His actions have spoke much more about him than these words. He never deserved to be drafted at all.

I felt like sucked when he came out but it doesn't hurt to look.

Gotta give him some credit for doing something like this.

I'd let him come in and run the scout team if our future franchise QB wasn't already doing it, though - JAMIELL SHOWERS (FLAME SUIT ON BRING ON THE HATE).

My letter to JJ:

Dear Jeruah,

Seeing how you have not done anything to bring in a QB during free agency and maybe draft, I wanted to throw my name in the ring.

I have never actually played the position, don’t really have many skills but I can throw the purdiest spiral you have ever seen.

I am willing to play for slightly less then what Romo is getting.

Would free you up in the draft not to draft a QB.

Please reply at your earliest convenience.

Thanks!

It costs almost nothing to workout a guy like this...there is no downside.

If he looked good enough to be brought to camp, he is going to get a vet minimum salary. The only thing that happens is he knocks the last guy off the bottom of the chart.....there is like a 99% chance that guy isn't going to make it. Probably worse.

His agent or someone wrote the letter and yes he is broke and has minimal if any employable skills.

I like the line about not " Unseating the starting quarterback " haha.

He probably is not practice squad eligible and he already knows he CAN'T playfor free, The NFLPA will ensure he has to get the vet minimum. So, I don't see any chance. Maybe he could try the CFL/

No such thing as bad publicity. This gets his name back in the news and will open up avenues for him to make a buck.

We don't need two guys on the team playing for nothing other than a paycheck (McClain). No thanks.
