ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jameis Winston will be suspended three games for violating the league's personal-conduct policy.

Per Schefter, the league "still has not notified Winston of its official decision," and "the circumstances surrounding it still could lead to an increase or decrease of the three games." The ban is the result of Winston's alleged March 2016 groping of an Uber driver. He was not charged with a crime in the incident. The timing is devastating for the Bucs, who will travel to New Orleans in Week 1 before hosting the Eagles and Steelers in back-to-back weeks. As coach Dirk Koetter coaches for his job, he will be doing so with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center.

So simple assault gets 6 games and sexual assault gets half that?

Goodell justice remains stupid.
Word is the suspension will stem from lack of notification of an issue to the league. Will be interesting to read the report but you can bet if the NFL thought Winston was REALLY guilty the suspension would be much larger than 3 games.

You know how it goes. He will appeal, appeal and appeal. Will get dropped and he will serve one game.

Nope. NFLPA would kill that in heartbeat. The max for a first time offense is 6.

Of course give the Eagles and the Steeelrs a possible layup game. Hope he fights it and plays the first 4 weeks or whatever.
Maybe until we play them even, so suspend him then.

How can your notify if you didn't do anything wrong?
