I wish Jerry had gone after our old 2008 - 2011 RB, Tashard Choice, who now is RBs Coach with the Detroit Lions.
Tashard Choice was phenomenal recruiting, coaching and turning the running backs program around at the University of Texas (Longhorns).
Tashard Choice, who coached running backs at Texas from 2022 to early 2025 before joining the Detroit Lions, developed an elite unit known as "one heart beat". Under his guidance, Texas produced multiple NFL draft picks, including Bijan Robinson, Roschon Johnson, Jonathon Brooks, and Keilan Robinson. He also recruited and developed talents like Jaydon Blue, Cedric Baxter, and Quintrevion Wisner.
