James Jones anyone?

Meh...I wouldn't trade for the guy. I'd rather wait and see what develops in training camp first, and if none of what we have looks good enough to be the #3, THEN...MAYBE start looking for a vet, though I don't even see that happening. I think one of the guys in camp is going to surprise everyone.

Not that I'm arguing, but who? Just curious.

If his former WR Coach wants him in Dallas........I am all for it. Late round pick or wait until/if they release him and Jimmy Robinson stamps him.......then I am on board.

Even if Bryant is facing suspension time, I think the watch-the-waiver-wire following preseason technique is the Cowboys best course of action. And should they learn early on what they think they have, they can always pull in an insurance policy, like Jones if available on the cheap and has his old receivers coach seal of approval.

All I have heard from most of the posters about addressing the oline is let the young guys develop, it would be a waste of resources to go out and get better players. I look at the WR position that way. Let some of these young guys battle it out. There are bigger needs on the team that needs addressed before a 3rd WR.

In all honesty, we are good enough at WR so long as Dez and Miles are healthy. With Witten as the #3 option and both Felix and Murray as excellent WRs out of the backfield I'm not sure there are many passes to distribute to the #3 WR. That position should be viewed as one for a developmental guy. If no one steps up you can sign a vet in week two to try and fill the void.

Our biggest problems are the quality of our interior OL and lack of a pass rusher to play opposite Ware. If we could settle those questions we are probably as good as any team out there.
This is an excellent post.

Right on the :money:
