Well, there's a reason he was the second pick in the draft.

There's also no doubt that the Cardinals have historically been an awful franchise.

To be honest we weren't that far off last season, if we keep columbo the playoff are a forgone conclusion, if we don't at least pull nfc championship I will be upset. That assumes phillips at the very least keeps the team that was here last year as good as it was before. With the little improvement there is no reason not to expect more this coming season. But, we could tank as a result of new coaching, it would be upsetting.

Huh? He had 23 catches for 225 yards and one touchdown in his last season with the Cardinals. He was a PLAN B free agent, which meant the Cardinals considered him at the bottom of their roster. They could have protected him and kept him. They didn't want him.
