i really wanted this guy before he signed with minny but he didnt fit our scheme. I love this guys tenacity and just think he brings a great swagger with him. I would love to sign him to a 2-3 year deal . I think we would have a huge impact with out team , he is also a clutch player unlike some of our current DL. Here is the deal ...

No. We need young talent, not one foot out the door, cap sucking talent. We've got a few of those and they're weighing us down.

we need more than one. Kind of hard to rely on a rookie these days. I would like to resign spencer or sign allen to a 2 year deal and draft another DE in the 1st 3 rounds.

No on Spencer. Allen is better, most likely cheaper, and brings a great locker room presence. I wouldn't mind Allen for 2 years as a stop-gap guy IF we can get him for real cheap. We need new young DEs, but you can't expect immediate impact starters out of rookies. Even if we drafted a DE with our 1st round pick, we'd still need someone else. That's why I don't mind Allen IF he comes very cheap. I don't mind acquiring veterans if they're cheap. The problem is when you give a 30 year old a max contract.
