PFF loves him! In their defense they were always Matty Ice >>> Romo

But I think they're wrong about this guy. PFR gave him a AV score of 6. Not good

Zeke: 16
Dak: 15
Lee: 16
Martin and Fred:14
Smith:13

Our receivers? All 8's

Too much faith in him. He's not Deion in coverage, yet they seem confident in letting him match up against some of the other team's most important weapons. I don't know where he earned that reputation/respect.

Think of a good game that Jones had. You really can't. He's just kind of there. I think he's a better corner. Jeff Heath is a better safety.

There was a time he took a Gronk out of the game..............as other db's have progressed well under the new dbcoach....i hate to say it, but Jones leveled off, maybe even showed signs of regression

Last stat I saw said we were the worst in the league against tight ends. Now from the worst in the league to the best in the league may be separate by a few minimal yards or few TD's.
Confirmed today.

I agree with you. He has no progressed. But really when he did that, Gronk had like 90 yards recieving.

This defense today, couldn't cover a bare *** with a blanket...and Cook came to the line of scrimmage like a pack of slobbering dogs eyeing a three legged cat.

The final 35 yard completion, Cook didn't even run a quick jog to his receiving place in the Dallas secondary.

Jones was milktoast today. He was just there. That is really all you can expect from him. He isn't a ballhawk or a playmaker, like some posters here were hyping him up to be. He is a decent player, and that is all he will ever be.

The Packers definitely featured Cook today and Jones gave up a catch at the worst time. Sucks. Sucks too because everyone knew Cook was going to be the guy today.

Jones seems a little stuck to me. He's bigger than a typical top corner. But not quite physical enough for a safety to me. Unless h becomes more physical, I think he might be a better corner than safety. But he's young enough to do what he sets his mind to.

I am shocked at how poorly he played. I thought earlier in the year he was turning into a special player...a cornerstone of the defense.

He was completely punked today and his lack of situational awareness at game's end was monumentally moronic. In fact. It was below moronic. Sub-moronic.

It was shameful given he's the one guy you need to stay glued to and he ran right by Jones without even a care.
