Due diligence. I just don't think he's a guy that can be a franchise QB. Solid, but that's it.

I'm almost certain that who ever we pin our hopes to after Romo, will not be the prospect that Jared Goff is. They may ultimately be better than what ever Goff turns out to be, either by their own merits, or by a lack of merit by him, but I believe who ever we end up with will not be as good of a prospect as Goff.

I disagree but only time will tell. His fast release, accuracy and ball placement is tailor made for our offense,

I think both Wentz and Goff can be franchise QBs
I think Lynch is more of a wild card, he has the talent and tools but needs a really good coaching staff

More and more I think that if Goff is there at 4 we will trade down with Rams who will take him. We will try to get cute and get Lynch at 15

I like the idea of moving down. What in all fairness would a move from 4 to 15 net us?

The Rams hold picks 15, 43, 45, 76, 110 and 190.

Would 43 and 76 be enough to move from 15 to 4, or should we not expect that much? I'm not all that familiar with the whole draft value chart thing.

Well when Washington traded from #6 to #2 for RG3 they gave St. Louis their second rounder (39th overall) and then two 1st rounders as well.

According to the draft chart on Ourlads, the Cowboys 4th overall pick for the Rams #1 (15), #2 (43), #3 (76) and #4 (110) would be basically an even swap.

The math might work out, but Goff in the top half of the 1st round is a absolute pass by me. 14 wins over 3 years just doenst equate. As Charlie Daniels might say---there is something wrong, something missing.........

Yes and I would want that and more. The Rams dropped 4 spots and received that. We are dropping eleven spots. Call it trade inflation.

That was because there was actually a really great QB prospect in RG3. Nobody in this draft has that type of reputation coming into this draft. Wentz is a really weak top qb prospect for a draft.

Says who the YouTube scouts?

Mayock, Kiper, Jeramiah, Gruden, CAsserly, Polian, McShay, Kirwin, Miller, and every other nationally known draft expert all say that Wentz and Goff are every bit as good as Maiotta and Winston. Some compare them to Luck and other NFL franchise QBs, but out resident Youtube expert scouts still continue to say that they are not worthy of the 4th pick!

do we release official visit lists or is it normally just pieced together by media members?

Out of the weak class of QB prospects, Goff looks the most NFL ready to me. Wentz may have a high ceiling due to his athleticism, but I don't think he will ever come close to reaching it. Just too much stupid in him when throwing the ball. Still has a beautiful deep ball, sadly, there will be 3 defenders there waiting for it.

Wentz is weak. But "RG3 was a really great QB prospect".

I guess it makes sense to view hype in a different vein.

Griffin was so great he bombed out and needed the worst franchise in the NFL to bail out his career.

Just goes to show you how off pre-draft evaluations can be.

Pieced together. You will get the official list of the visits. But there are countless other workouts that are not publicized.
