Makes me laugh when people say he's washed up. Plays literally every snap and has a huge role as a receiver AND as a blocker. Today we just saw him do it as a receiver more because that's what the D gave us. I hope more teams keep sleeping on the most productive QB-TE tandem in NFL history.

Wow.

How many first downs did he get tonight? 7 ?

Love this guy

The word that sums up Witten for me is dependable. He has been converting 3rd downs for his entire career, HOF should be a given for him.

That's a nice word. Accurate too.

But he is a little more than that. He is dependable and fearless and smart. He will get to where he needs to be to make sure he gets that first down.

Fricken warrior!

Still doesn't have speed. And a lot of it is scheme. As they stated prior, Jason on Thanksgiving was used more for blocking and a safety valve, while they specifically targeted him, especially in the beginning. They also spread the ball much more this game, getting favorable match-ups.

This team has talent and it usually blows when the game-plan is bad.

I think we live in a "fantasy football" era right now. If a skill player doesn't generate X number of fantasy points, he's no good. They couldn't be more wrong.
