The best argument in favor of Garrett is how great a job the Cowboys have done developing Dak. Taking a 4th rounder and having him turn in the best rookie QB performance in football history is not normal and is a very big deal.

If we're judging coaches purely on how good they actually are, then Belichick would have all of them since 2001 because he has no peer among active coaches. Pete Carroll looked like he might give him a run for his money by resurrecting the Seahawks, but then he choked in the Super Bowl against Belichick and lol whelp.

Yeah, I'd rate him as above average in everything BUT his game-day performance. He's not as tragic as Andy "Take 5 minutes to finish a 2 minute drill when down 2 scores, over and over again" Reid though. At least not anymore.

Garrett being named coach of the year is one of the biggest jokes I've seen in the sports world. He's the single biggest reason why his team isn't still playing.

Coach of the year? I would fire him.

He has a very limited role with the team.

How dare you? We are slamming the coaches despite the fact they coached a rookie qb and a defense with questionable talent to a 13-3 record.

Not going to say I liked the coaching vs GB but some people need to get a grip.
