Based on what criteria .
Based on what criteria .
So everyone is a failure who doesn’t win SB. Ok lol
I don't care about anyone else. Just the Dallas Cowboys and we all know where the bar is set. That is why Garrett was an epic failure. Just two playoff wins in 10 years is a joke.So everyone is a failure who doesn’t win SB.
We all know where the ultimate team bar is. But I don’t think any reasonable fan would declare every player and coach a failure for the Cowboys who dont win a SB.I don't care about anyone else. I can't even turn on SNF until right before kickoff anymore. Thanks, Jason.
And I'm not the only one. He's a widespread joke on Twitter. Diehard must be the only person who thinks he's good.
Garrett in the same line as CampoHere’s how Id rank Cowboys HC since the 90’s SB team.
1. Parcells
2. McCarthy
3. Garrett
4. Phillips
5. Gailey
6. Shottenheimer
7. Campo
Campo was only HC with complete failure. Shotty could be next but I’m giving him benefit of doubt for now .
Top 4 all had winning records and made playoffs.
Parcells, Phillips and McCarthy had similar talent. And no more success in playoffs.Garrett in the same line as Campo
All others above them
Garrett teams had more talent than Campo otherwise no difference
I didn't say anything about any former players. Just JG.But I don’t think any reasonable fan would declare every player and coach a failure for the Cowboys who dont win a SB.
Don’t have to be a total success to not be a failure.I didn't say anything about any former players. Just JG.

Given the Cowboys playoff record with all the HC's in this era, that is a damn bold statement.I wouldn’t say all of our HC’s this era were total failures cause they didn’t win a SB.
Maybe not in NY, Cleveland, Arizona, Atlanta or some other loser cities. It is in Dallas.Winning a SB isn’t only definition of success nor is not winning one a clear definition of failure.
But that expectation isn’t the only measurement of success or failure.Given the Cowboys playoff record with all the HC's in this era, that is a damn bold statement.
They were all epic failures. None came close to achieving the kind of playoff success as expected.
How can we expect that anymore with Jethro as GM?Maybe not in NY, Cleveland, Arizona, Atlanta or some other loser cities. It is in Dallas.
It went for quite a while before recognizing it.....I figured people just assumed that I misspelled it because of ignorance and pitied me.Ha. I see what you did there, heh.
Except that he has zero chance of being a HC again. Garrett is a fraud. The league knows it.I can't blame any of these guys for giving up the rigid demands of coaching to become analists with less pressure.
I said "coaching"Except that he has zero chance of being a HC again. Garrett is a fraud. The league knows it.
He certainly got smarter.I'm disappointed that he didn't mention that it's a process. He's slipping.
Oops, nevermind. Read the whole story and he did mention process.
How many other Cowboys coaches were given a decade? It’s tough to overcome coaching in Dallas in Puppet era. Only if you’ve had some previous success.
Will be tough for anyone to surpass the success Garrett had here. He’s one of the best puppets we’ve had.
We certainly haven’t had anymore playoff success since he left. And only Landry has more team Cowboy wins.
