With Jason Hatcher in his face, Tony Romo throws into heavy traffic. Bruce Carter picked it off.
Tony Romo to Jason Witten for a TD. Will we see that more than a few times this season?

Carlos A. Mendez ‏@calexmendez 3m
Armstrong nice back shoulder TD.
Scandrick walking the sideline with a towel on his head. 1s are practicing without him.

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins 2m
Not sure if Scandrick is done for the day but he's taking a knee as 1-team defense is on field.

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr 2m
Moore with first team defense. No scandrick and no Webb

Todd Archer ‏@toddarcher 33s
Orlando Scandrick took himself out for second series of team situation work. Doesn't appear hurt. Maybe frustrated

Randle very nice cutback in team red zone. Running confident.

mike fisher ‏@fishsports 10m
2nd team O with red-zone incompletion. @jasonWitten intensity so high he comes sprinting of #cowboys practice sideline to berate officials

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr 8m
Cowboys being patient and understanding with Wilcox who may not back tomorrow
Officials said scandrick would have been tossed in a game for contact with an official. Intentional or not

Charean Williams ‏@NFLCharean 6m
Official said Scandrivk made contact with him. Doesn't know whether it was intentional or not. Would have tossed him in game.

Brad Sham ‏@Boys_Vox 1m
@NFLCharean In fact, I think it's why Scandrick left practice. It was treated as an ejection.

Scandrick on bumping offical getting tossed form practice: it cant happen. i know what happens in this league and i cant touch the official
Scandrick said he was pursing the ball, ran into the official. the official braced for contact. He pushed him out of the way in frustration

Player to watch in last week of Cowboys camp: Jeff Heath. May make this squad. Safety competition called "wide open".

I think church is getting his feet back under him after missing so much time last season with the injury. I can't wait till JJ gets a grasp of the defense and the position and allows Church to move into the Box. I think those 2 are the future at Safety

Aren't they both SS? I don't see Wilcox as a free safety type.

If this team trotted out sensabaugh as a FS alongside Church I don't see why Wilcox couldn't do the same, he appears athletic enough to play it

Yeah I don't either, Church gets alot of love around here for really no reason at all, but Wilcox is really more in his position than a free safety. Matt Johnson actually fits more of the mentality of a FS, if he wasnt made of glass. Even if the duties of safety in this D overlap, a backend of Church and Wilcox could cause alot of problems with deep passes from play action, with both being overly aggressive.

FREEEKIN amazing that after an entire off season with plenty of options in the draft and FA that we are still talking about the safety position being wide open.....IT BLOWS MY MIND.....In today's NFL it could be the most important position on the defense and we have ZERO options...And don't give me any of these no name, unproven, retreads, or rookies as your picks to surprise anyone..The bottom line is at the end of last year, everyone and their mom knew the Cowboys needed help on the OL and at S, and we did a HORRIBLE job at addressing either of them...

A bit of an overreaction don't you think?
