A bad team will win this division. Losing 8 out of the last 9 games, including games to some real stinkers like NO, TB, PHI, and NYG suggest that we aren't even close to being in the mix. There are only 2 teams in the league with a worst record than us. Wake up.

Jason Garrett is many things but "grade A stupid" is not one of them. If you insist on tearing the man down, you can at least be honest about it. His mistakes as HC of Cowboys are too numerous to be ignored and just call him stupid. Perhaps your complaint would have merit if you focus on his true failures rather than making things up. Maybe you could talk about his poor ability to evaluate talent or his refusal to plan for the future... just a few suggestions to steer you in the right direction. As a well established academic scholar, one of the weakest arguments you can make about Jason Garrett is saying he is "class A stupid". Have a nice day.

Wake up? I'm not disagreeing with your characterization at all. Only with your math. We're in the NFCE mix. It's not a subjective assessment. A win this week against another weak team puts us realistically one game out. That's in the mix.

Where did I do any math? You have to look at the context of the situation. In order to win this division, they will need to win at least 4/5 games. That ain't happening.

I would say it's probably unlikely considering this team has gone 0-7 without Romo as the starting QB.

I don't think we're going to win the East under Casell, either. But we're still somehow in a position where it's a possibility. As bad as we've been, our competition has been comparably bad.

Good god, man if you're going to trash him at least try to get your facts right. He started at Princeton, transferred to Columbia because his dad became the coach at Columbia, then transferred back to Princeton. So your nepotism claims are completely unfounded. Athletes don't get scholarships there and are treated the same as all the other students. Try again.

When they win one game without Romo, he can say something..... until then, reality is he can't lead his team to a victory without his starting QB. A bad team will win the NFC East, but it unlikely to be a Garrett led Cowboys team..........
