No Jason no they're not.
He knows they're dead but he obviously can't say that. One thing Garrett knows how to do is be politically correct.
No Jason no they're not.
We've thrown more than that.
Unless you mean TDs to players from *our* team. In which case, your numbers seem about right.
I will wager that. He spoke the truth. Deal with it. We are winning this Sunday. We will be one game out of first (as unlikely as it is, that is the hand we were dealt, why throw it away?)
We can then beat GB who is also 1-4 their last 5 games, so are you going to say that game is unwinnable?
We can/will be tied for first with 2 or 3 games to go. I like our chances in THIS division
You guys are arguing against math here. There's not really a debate about this.
Winning the lottery is also mathematically possible
California Powerball is $110MM this week. If you're laying those odds, I've got a dollar for the Cowboys to win the East for you.
Reality is, if we win this weekend, we're inexplicably one game out. If Garrett were to pretend that's not the case, he wouldn't be doing his job. The fans are just going to have to accept the simple math for what it is.
That this Cowboys team - without Romo - has a chance of winning the NFC East.
If you would care to wager otherwise, just let me know. I've heard enough hollow talk this season to last a lifetime.
Me too -- talk like this just angers me at this point. You had an opportunity to show this team's will to win, to show that it learned how to do the little things correctly that mean the differences between wins and losses. This team failed every single challenge that was put in front of them. Every one.

Exactly, and all of this "we'll get 'em next time!" nonsense is just that, nonsense!
The thing is, all of that failure is factored into the 3-8 record already. You don't get to count it twice.
We haven't failed every challenge yet, because we still have challenges left. Look at the common opponents between us and WAS. This is a very winnable game this week, even without Tony Romo.
Why is it nonsense, though? Because you're unhappy?
I'm not saying we *will* get them next time. But why are you writing off any chance that they could in fact turn things moderately around? That Dez couldn't make that third down catch in Tampa? Or Williams not get the tricky tack OPI flag in PHI? Or the defense make one more play v. SEA? Or the DMC touchdown not get removed v. NYFG? Or we not blow the overtime coverage v. the Saints?
Like it or not, these games have come down to single plays. We're looking at some fairly questionable teams on the schedule still. There's no reason to assume that just because we haven't won some close ones yet that we can't win them in the future.

This bum needs to go. We are not, and should not hurt our draft status thinking we actually have a chance.
I actually can't wait to see the demeanor of the team Monday. It's going to say a ton of the coaching staff.
