Jerry Jones has made a lot of questionable calls in Dallas, but I really think hiring JG was his worst one. He is just an awful head coach.

we tried the bull headed coach, Parcells, we tried the cupcake coach, Wade (some people are just better coordinators), and we tried a college coaches, and lame duck coaches. My question is whats left?

But Parcells and Wade did have some success here. Garrett is just terrible.

The question may be what coach would be interested in joining this organization?

The funny thing is, this team switched schemes for TURNOVERS and the reasoning was that TOs is the reason the offense wasn't producing... Again, the hide Garrett's incompetence. Now, he's becomin absolved yet again by his homies in the media.

They had success, I think the media and fans were to rash, but okay, so we are here now, the question still remains as the other poster put it, what coach would want to come here, and how much power would he have?

I think that's a great question.

I think that many of us were pleasantly surprised and amazed when Parcells took the job.

A strong-minded, disciplined coach with great accomplishments and skins on the wall.

But, before and after him, and between Jimmy Johnson's departure and his arrival, none of them have looked very good.

And at this point, between the team's obvious issues, on-field and off, and the most meddling owner in sports, I don't see how any quality coach who's not desperate would come here.

Garrett does not seem to have a clue on how to "fix or improve" the Cowboys, so the next best thing for him is to keep a positive attitude and sell Jerruh on "his process". He is hoping Jerruh does not put things together and fire him...so he continues with the positive BS.

Unfortunately key players are getting old, some young guys not performing, and coaching is less than average. Too many things to overcome. And for the fans, another year of disappointment.

And maybe this is what you were referring to, but he specifically said the offense was doing some good things but then the Bears got a stop and scored and the game got out of hand. In other words, blaming the defense. In other other words, protecting his side of the ball and thus his own hide. Typical.
