the comments in this thread saying JG doesn't deserve to be resigned is another clear reason why so many left for another forum.

You need to reassess your football knowledge.

When Dan Bailey or Nick Folk pre hip injury is your kicker, you kick it.

When David Beuhler is your kicker, you go for it even if its 4th and goal from the 15 and your down by 1

As a Zone newb this season, but as someone that has posted at several other forums, the fringe is inescapable. Its really no worse here then anywere else

Its best to try and find a way to enjoy it. I personally enjoy the meltdowns

He opted to kick a 50 yard field goal instead of going for it on a terrible field. The guy continues to not do the small things right. The NFL has a very small margin of error and he is always on the wrong end of these types of things. Always.[/quot

oo are we going to forget teh 3 seasons of 8-8, THAT the team had to sign a player caller so we can get the running game going thats been non existant for 3 years, One of the best Oline coaches and a defensive coach who did a great job with a really bad defense?

You going to spout facts, use all of them, not the ones that are just in your favor.

No, we're not going to forget them. They were part of the natural rebuilding process that every team faces.

The fact remains that the "process" moved forward this year. It constituted progress, and you don't throw that way.

My guess is Jerry signs him to a new contract sometime before the end of next week. Wonder if any teams reach out to him?

If we can keep Marinelli and Linehan, then I resign Garrett. Otherwise, I must review my options.

Exactly. We finally got somewhere and looked awesome doing it. We didn't luck into our record or just beat the bad teams. We played well and deserved it. I would hate to finally get to that point of being one of the 'good' teams in the NFL and then throw it all away and start over again

I'm torn on what to do. I don't want a long term deal. 12-4 and this run is great but I've never changed my opinion that I fear a Gary Kubiak situation with years of bad decisions and .500, new coordinators before a turnaround and then back to bad when coordinators lose mojo...all with classy, good guys. So I'd like to see a 3 year deal. I think its smarter and if you like what you see as you go you can extend further. I don't

That's what I want. He's clearly earned a new contract, but I wouldn't break the bank or bust out a lifetime contract or anything.

3 years is just fine by me. Basically, ride out Romo's career
