hatcher is straight up balling this year.

rod is making these players actually play beyond their abilities.

I do not doubt, that is part of his deal, but you do not give the kinda money he is looking for to a player his age, it will be Ratliff 2.0. He is looking for Henry Melton(before his injury) money.

I don't think it's that. But I do think if Hatcher was sucking up the joint, folks wouldn't be praising his videos. They'd be telling him he needs to shut up and play better. Iol

I've always like Hatcher tho. He truly is a good dude for all intents and purposes. So it's good to see him finally get some shine.

Marinelli is not the missing link. People said the same think about Hudson Houck, they are just coaches. In the Tampa-2, the job of the DL is to get sacks, not to stop the run, so they have one job. I am sure, if all players around the league were just allowed to play the pass rather than both, sacks would increase league wide. I don't believe that all of a sudden, Marinelli, shows up, and players become superstars. a 31yr old DT, all of a sudden is putting together a great year, and his contract is up.....But that couldn't be a coincidence...

Hatcher has always been good. More opportunities this year. He is a vocal leader.

So it's impossible to think maybe, just maybe playing in a different scheme might also have something to do with it? Hatch doesn't strike me as a loafer.
