Jason Hatcher is a damn good dude

Ratttt is one of the most over rated players in Cowboys history!!! I know some of y'all liked him, but what did he really ever do for us???

The question was who was better, not who is better now or who did or did not cause problems.

Stats from 7 of their seasons(did not include 2005 or 2013):

2006 - 2012

Hatcher
109 tackles
16 sacks
missed 8 games

Ratliff
156 tackles
26 sacks
missed 12 games

So, even with four less games played, Ratliff had better stats; therefore, I conclude he was the better player on the field. He may have been very overrated but that was not the question. Another couple seasons like this one for Hatch and I think he will have been better.

It's funny, how players do that when they are playing for a contract.

Hatcher has been doing this for the past 3 yrs. When Dallas has played Hatcher inside he's been unblockable. But in the 3-4 Dallas' DE's have always been asked to occupy so the OLB can rush. This has been the same from Parcells DEF all the way to Rex last yr. People who try to use this playing for contract on Hatcher have no idea what theyre talking about
