Witten usually seems to manage giving good advice to the youngsters. Setting lofty goals always helps.

He also makes it a point to set a good example by demonstrating his work ethic. No entitlement here.

I like that he added that 31 other teams have that goal too.

Though it's probably only half that number that think they really could pull it off, it is that time of year.

I feel a lot better about Randle because of Witten.

Last year, I honestly thought Witten was going to rip him to pieces right there on the practice field. Randle wanted no part of it.

No doubt, Randle knows who he's answering to on the field and in meetings.

Why? What's the goal then? You play the game to win.

I think it is better not to make comments like that, Getting to the SB is a series of Goals.
As you achieve each one it will eventually lead to the SB.
This current team and in past 10 years has not got past the divisional round.
goal 1. win enough games to get in playoffs
2. win all playoff games
3. win SB
This is the goal of all players and all teams, you dont need to talk about it just do it.
The main thing is just getting to the playoffs, and having a plan for what you want to do strategy wise once in the playoffs.

I wish they would chill on the Super Bowl talk.

This one time when I have to side with a sterling quality example of focus and dedication, both. I think he states exactly where the focus is for quite a few of the top shelf players for Dallas. I know, political views in an anti-social world now, can easily be categorized. But for this NCO, give me the bark and strong sentiments upon accomplishing all the mission...up front.
