First, I am just an average recaper, hopefully DC or theebs can find the podcast that Jason Witten was on NFL Network today at 1:20 to 1:28 or so.

Jason was asked by warren sapp to identify defensive leaders at least 2, jason named ware, bradie james, ratliff.

Jason was asked why he didnt attend the birthday party of T O's or something like that, or why romo didnt attend too. Jason said main reason, which again was probably blown out of proportion was that at that time, Jason was injured, had 2 small kids, and romo was hurt too. Had nothing else to do with it.

Jason was asked if teams had guessed the offensive coordiantor game planning. Jason said garrett is good as well as wade is a good head coach, and players love to play for him, even wade won 13 games his first season.

Jason Witten said that the players just didnt execute.

about the big blowup between T O, Romo and Jason Witten, jason said things were blown out of proportion. Way out of proportion.

i know most of you or probably some of you want T O gone;

i think you would be making a huge mistake,

thats not the problem,

its the leaders on this team not standing up and being accountable and making the other players accountable

its wade phillips not being accountable, being stuck on his 13-3 season the first year, and refusing to see the light, when it was pointed out to him in the loss against the giants in the playoffs

now phillips says changes need to be made

thats why i dont like wade period as a head coach, now as a defensive coordinator, its a totally different story, wade is a superior defensive coordinator, but he is outclassed wherever he has coaches as a head coach

it takes a tough person to be a head coach, he must get on the players when need be, he must get on the owner if need be,

thats not wade and never will be. When a head coach like wade doesnt allow hitting for the first 25 days in training camp, somethign is wrong

that kind of attitude rubs off on your players too

now wade isnt alone in this, its on jerry jones too

when jerry jones said i will find out after the ram game whom isnt givng 110 percent, etc, but jerry jones has done nill too, then it lays at jerry jones door too

when players know that you can go to the owner over the head coach, then you have a mess, thats on jerry jones, but the head coach must be MAN enough to stand up to the owner too

and the players see that too and milk it all for what its worth, thats the problem on this team

no accountability, no team leadership, no sacrifice, no heart, no desire to be champions wiht hard work and sweat.

Maybe because everyone knows that 99% of the time, dc will try to post the vid or audio of anything cowboys-related.

on the part about T O not being perfect, if you listened to what witten said, and what i heard, witten was saying no one is perfect,

there is a ton of different personalities on the cowboys team,

and no, to me jason witten wasnt putting T O down, he said they get along fine,
jason witten was even asked about the relationship between himself and tony romo, witten replied something like, sure were friends, but i have other friends on this team too, as equally as important
