Javonte or Pickens?

Who still thinks it's Javonte after today? Run was completely bottled up. It's not all on him, but I don't believe he's a special talent. Pickens is.

The same time I hate to break it to you and anybody else who hasn't thought about this listen to his postgame press conferences all of them he's used these words i'm glad I can be here as a cowboy showcasing my skills maximizing my value you know who his agent is right parsons maximized his value by getting out of Dallas..
What George is gonna want is to be the number one wide receiver who gets the number one wide receiver money therefore we almost have zero control on who we're choosing here..

Just don't see this guy wanting to be behind CD lamb Not just about money he wants to be the guy and that's not Dallas Fall or Jerrys fault we're going to get him as a one year rental but the only thing we can do is franchise tag him so we can maximize his trade value and then let him go so he's not a headache I am not going through that again this offseason with this agent...

Just don't believe he'd even be happy with T Higgins money he just doesn't seem like that guy he really is thinking about a real long term deal at a really big bag..
Disagree, sign Pickens now re-sign him, might be the only good thing to come out of this potentially wasted season

How are you gonna resign a guy that wants to wait till the end of the year so his value is 100 percent you literally don't listen to him every single time he talks he says the same thing at the end he's glad to be in Dallas because of the exposure helps elevate his value that is speak for I want to be a highly paid wide receiver meaning number one money meaning number one wide receiver reps they are not here CD lamb already has that on lock we're going to need to go ahead and franchise tag him let him seek a trade and get what we can from him...

Jerry has no control on this, All act like Jerry just can come to anyone and say take this deal now because it's best for the team But that's not how this works when the player and agent knows he can be a number one receiver somewhere else he's going to play to the end of the year use his stats to get the biggest possible contract he can get and that won't be being a #2 wide receiver here..

Don't understand how you don't get that you're you're not reading between the lines he does not want to be a number 2 wide receiver because he don't want to be paid like one now you think we're going to pay him like a number one to play a number 2 spot CD lamb is that guy I still don't understand what you're debating here he does not want to be a number two or he would come out and say that he'd love to stay in Dallas next year and play behind Lamb for T Higgins money like seriously ask him will he because i'm betting it would be a hard no.

I don't think he sees any risk playing to the end of the year because he wants to maximize his value what do you think that really means he's glad to have this exposure in Dallas meaning all the prime time games and all the talk what does that mean because all that means to me is he's right.. Came here to up his value to use Dallas as a stepping stone to get big money and you can't make a player stay when you don't want to stay because you can't afford to pay two wide receivers #1 money that tell me where I'm wrong again how am I wrong you think he signed for less with that agent we just went through this already Same agent as Parsons..

If we can only bring one back next year?
Who would you pick?
Defense or offense???

Mountain Molehill 3-3 this season.

When they win their D is averaging 15.3 points per game.

When they lose their D is averaging 26 points a game.

Now imagine how they would be doing if they gave up 32 points a game.

Dallas would likely be able to bring Williams back at only a slightly higher cost than what he's making now.

Like I said earlier in this thread, if Dallas wants to bring back both, they can. In the end, Jerruh will cry cap and both will walk.

If Jerry wants another crappy defense next year, he can as well. In fact, he is really good at it.

He certainly appeared to have some tired legs. That said, there were zero holes made. That D line for Carolina is strong and big and thick. I think we should have hit the edges harder, but reality is Blue has no clue what to do yet. The few times he carried the ball there was zero room and he isn't a strong guy. He needs a hole then needs to hit it. He can't make his own hole.

Who believes we should increase our $30M+ gap in spending between our offense and defense?

What is the definition of insanity again?

Keep javonte and work on developing Blue...they will be fine next year with our big road graders on OLine ..need to use the draft capital on defense..if someone offers a 2 for pickens pull the trigger, if not let him play out the season

Well there is a big difference between Dallas and Cincinatti and that's Dallas has a great oline while the Bengals can't get a good oline no matter how hard they try and just get Burrow mauled until he can't play anymore. 2 receivers might be ok if they can manage the cap along with the oline. Dak is a lot worse than Burrow but getting paid like him. Dak can look solid with good oline play though.
Defense will remain horrible similar to Cincy's oline. Just deal with it and try to play time of possession ball I guess.

Get rid of your team's best performing player this year and give more draft picks to a general manager who has not built a top ranked defense against the run in 30 years.

Brilliant strategy. I swear many Dallas fans crave mediocrity in every orifice of their body.

They won't even talk to him/agent at this point, and even in an attempt to the other side, won't even be listened to. That being said, you have a point in saying they should talk now (3's value is the highest it will be) and once 88 returns it's back to 2nd looks for him

They may need to press the matter. If we can’t resign Pickens, then we need to trade him before the deadline. Otherwise we gave up a 3rd round draft pick for one year of highlight catches, that didn’t really matter because our defense was terrible.
