Javonte Williams Appreciation Thread

Dallas needs Blue's speed on the field, he would have made a difference against the Giants today. Hope to see Blue on the field soon.
Yeah, I'm still not sold on J Will yet at the RB spot getting most of the carries. I think this team needs a back who is more of a homerun threat. Yes, J Will had a good, long-ish run today, but he doesn't seem to have the pop off the snap. I feel like he's too patient.

I wouldn't mind him splitting carries with a more elusive back, but I'm not quite sold on his total package as a RB yet. For the most part, if I'm playing the Cowboys, I would just play the pass every down, because in most cases, even if the Cowboys do run, I'm not all that worried that they're going to bust a big one. Sanders and Williams don't quite scare DCs, even though they have each had a long run this season.

And the Cowboys rarely call a screen, for the RB or WR, so I guess our lineman and WRs simply can't block in space. OK. Shrinks the playbook, and erases threats right at the LOS.

I just don’t see it, he’s going to make some plays getting the ball enough and knows how to play. But he’s nothing but a JAG.

A lot of us were wrong on him. Cowboys front office clearly saw how good he looked. I’ve been watching him in Denver and yes he was as bad over these last few years as we thought. Hes fully recovered now it seems.
This guy wasn't wrong, but he was also chastized for declaring him an easy RB1 on the team...

I had my eye on Williams ever since he played for UNC and wanted him in that draft. I was excited when the Cowboys signed him.
I loved him in college too but the Cowboys had zero use for him in that draft since they had pre-knee injury Zeke and Pollard at that time. But I always thought he had a chance to be a horse type back. I'm glad we got him. This dude callin him a Jag after watching him break tackles all day especially on that long run should do standup cause that's some funny schtick.

He's shown to be a lot more capable of contributing than I thought. He had some nice runs today and has brought a good red presence.

However, he's not the fastest accelerating in the hole and really would love if Blue could turn into that complimentary piece.

He’s been everything you can hope for . Man runs hard . And in the open he’s got the break away speed to hit the HR . And I think Sanders the vet and Blue the rookie spelling Williams gives Dallas fresh legs every series .

Guys, something in practice have the staff scared off putting Blue in a game. It's food for thought.

He's been solid. Very, very good short yardage back. Good hands and effort.

We can do better here eventually- but we can win with him @ RB1.
