I remember Bryan Broaddus was a huge fan of his during the draft, same with David Johnson. I think Sturm liked Ajayi as well. Pretty impressive considering how bad their line is supposed to be.

Add revamped O line. Gase cut several of them two weeks ago. So far it's looking like they are meshing up front.

Good example of the multinational future of the sport. Londoner with Nigerian parents.

ouch...lol

It's indisputable that RB is for sure one of the positions that you can wait on.

The great news is that at least the one we used our very early 1st rounder on looks like the real deal.
Zeke's a monster

But just for trivia's sake, here are the top backs this year
  1. Elliot..1st round (4th overall)
  2. D Johnson...3rd round
  3. D Murray..3rd round
  4. L McCoy...2nd round
  5. L Blount..undrafted
  6. J Ajayi..5th round
  7. L Miller...4th round
  8. D Freeman..4th round
  9. F Gore...3rd round
  10. I Crowell--undrafted
  11. S Ware...6th round
Note: L Bell had to sit out a few games, but he was a 2nd rounder

You can add up ALL of those picks combined plus add in maybe a future 2nd rounder, and that would be the value of the 4th overall pick.

Think about that......

But in the end, if you were going to burn a 4th overall on a RB, Dallas landed a stud.
So at this point...hooray:flagwave:

Exactly how I feel. Bad drafting tactic, great outcome.

It's way more important to me that we not miss on the picks. But it does sting a bit knowing you now have to fix the DE problem with a ~20 pick on down.

In there defense they took the top player available by there board. It was him, Ramsey or trade down for Floyd I believe. Traditionally neither Elliott nor Ramsey are guys you want to spend a top 5 pick on, but this class was very weak at the top and especially at money 5 positions ( compounded by Tunsils bong hits). After Bosa was drafted there was a premier player at a key position worth the 4th pick left

Luckily for us and Jacksonville we didnt do what teams in 2013 did and reach for those money 5 guys and took the best players available. We could have easily had a Dion Jordan type pick
