This may be old news, but I just heard this. He said he likely won't play.

So he's almost surely out tomorrow night.

I think most agree that it's a good idea to hold him out if he's not well yet.

The thing that annoys me with this team and how they handle injuries is that he was practicing (even limited) so soon after he suffered a strain to a muscle in his leg. Why not have him truly rest for a bit, then work his way back onto the field? That's basic treatment of an injury. Last year he was walking around the locker room put when he was supposed to wear a boot or have decreased weight bearing (can't remember exactly which it was). Maybe it's him being a "tough warrior", but it's early and we have depth there. I feel we (he?) should have been a little more conservative with this. Hopefully he takes it easy this weekend and recovers well so he can help us the rest of the year.

The team gets criticized a bit for letting players sit out of practices too much for injuries as well.

You can't please everyone all of the time.

this will also allow choice to get some playing time and now we can see if felix if fully healthy

later in the year, when you need all 3 backs, this could pay dividends for us down the road

That's cool. They shouldn't rush him back anyway. Especially with the depth we have at RB. Choice is very capable and proven.

Let him sit.

Would rather have him healthy all year then force him in now.

If there is really one player on offense we can live with out the next 3 weeks it's Barber (our Hurd) Anyone seen that guy lately?

Barber needs to sit this coming game, and I agree with that.

This is why the Boyz have two other back to help him out. Choice can get some game time experience.

I'm not worried...

:laugh2: Trudat. Sam was my breakout player of this year. I told my co-workers the Boys were going to shock the world. Hurd was my trump card. I had to take it all back Monday. Where are they hiding Sam?

I told my cousin to watch out for Sam also. I don't think he's been on the field all that much.
