@JayGlazer 5m
Some Dallas cowboys injury update in first segment of @FFD in 5 minutes on @FOXSports. My news is different than what's out there

And the updates are as follows:
Ware is almost definitely out this week but 1-2 weeks is more likely timeframe than 3-4 weeks. Team is going to be cautious as far as rushing him back and wants to make sure it won't be reoccurring.

Murray is not definitely out this week, and the MCL sprain is not a pain situation but a confidence one but he feels at this point he could play and will see as the week recovers.

The team will be more conservative with Ware than Murray.

I'm going to say something here that may be stupid beyond words, but here goes: After comparing what happened to both units after Ware and Murray went out, if I had to make a choice, I'd rather get Murray back.

Not so dumb based on the results, but we all know a healthy Ware will make our defense better by leaps and bounds. I know a lot have given up, but I'm still holding out hope that we will see the Ware we all know and love before this season is over.

I think You feel that way because it was in game in the moment thing.

With time to prepare I think the backs will be better, the defense I don't think so.

Rg3 is not very good and missed a bunch of open guys, he had a Td when helu ran away from carter and he just threw it out of bounds. Pretty terrible qb play.

They are both good players but I don't think with time prepare the backs will be bad but ware can not be replaced.

Randle looks awful small though.

It's only one game, if Wilbur can be effective for a long stretch, then it makes us stronger. But we still need Ware out there. I know DW is not the same beast, but he is still capable of making plays. Wilbur does have a burst to get to the qb. He just needs to hold up against the run.

Very smart statement, actually. I agree.

The focus should not be on how quickly Ware can get back but how well the existing Dline players can get coached up to handle the week to week opponents. Lets face it, Ware has not been productive the last week or two. The focus is getting production out of the existing unit. I'd be pretty tempted to shut Ware down until he's 100%, especially if we can get a few wins in a row here, why rush him back.

Glazer is pretty much the best out there and given Murray's UFC connections I have a feeling it's pretty accurate.

makes sense to me.

I equate to when the Ravens lost Ray Lewis last year. They certainly didn't miss him much except towards the end of the regular season but they held it together to win the division without him. Ray wasn't the same dominant force but he like Ware was still a presence out on the field.

We need depth at DE. They are looking at Wynn likely until Ware comes back. Even if he is platooned Ware can add depth behind Wilbur until they feel he is well enough to start again.

I'm thinking that we should let Ware get as healthy as he can get and then use him only on 3rd and long situations. That may be our only hope to have an effective pass rush later this season. If we can just get by until then I think we might be a stronger defense down the stretch.

I would be ecstatic if DeMarco doesn't miss any time and can play at 100% effectiveness.

I agree, but it's the threat of Ware that Offenses have to gameplan around. Yes, he's not his former self, but teams have to account for him. If you go into the gameplan and not even have to worry about him that changes a lot.

Well I hope we can get Murray back that quickly, since he is the one that made unreachable promises to play in every game this season. Randle isn't ready to start, and really didn't look all that explosive in that game anyway.....we need Murray back especially with Dunbar not being an option.

I'm most concerned about Randle's ability to pass protect. He's really never been good at that and that's scary going into a loud road stadium.

On one side ... Griffin threw some terrible passes to open WR's.

On the other side, half of his scrambles would have been sacks with a less mobile QB.
