We need him so I hope he comes back and plays lights out
DL pressure is missing from this defense

Yeah, we really need him. How do you replace a guy who had more personal fouls (2) than sacks (1) last year and hasn't played football in a year? Tough, real tough:cool:

Jay's just trolling Jerry, he'll have a "setback" before he gets anywhere close to the field

Guy should be arrested for grand larceny. Talk about a player who got paid, then got fat and happy.

Yep, Exactly.. I bet the only reason Ratliff is even acting as if he is trying to play....is to protect his money by maintaining some clause of his contract....we just have to wait and see.... but I really doubt this is anything but meeting contract requirements to continue cashing Jerry's checks....

Most people like Broaddus predicted that he would need to practice for about 3 weeks before having any chance of being activated.

Why are people so convinced he's faking this injury? Where's the evidence for that?

It is extremely strange that the Cowboys don't even know what Ratliff's status is right now. They are bringing him in to find out. In this age of instant communications, something like this is very puzzling to many, and suspicious to others.

That locker room fight with Jerry is sure costing Jerry a lot of money.

It is Jerry's own fault. Jerry confirmed some of the rumors about this team having a country club atmosphere by not sending Ratt packing the second that the fight started. I would have had him removed and had him banned from ever returning again.

It doesn't seem too dissimilar to the bad body language Gronkowski scenario in NE, in terms of miscommunication and distrust, but the expectaions for Rat to actually play again, appear to be minimal at this point.

Yeah, well here's a sample of those "daily reports:"

Jerry/Stephen: We need you. How's the rehab going Jay?
Rat: I don't know. You tell me, #%@!
Jerry/Stephen: Keep up the good work. Nice to chat with you. Don't forget your meds.
Rat: Anytime you want to meet. Anytime, you old geezer. Hangs up.

Jerry to Stephen: We might need to get that old tranquilizer gun out again.

Maybe Rat will come in and surprise us like Free has this year.

The money has been spent, they might at well try to get some return on it and DT is a position of need. I doubt it works out favorably, but I hope it does. I would much rather have a healthy Ratliff prove the doubters wrong than see him fail and listen to the "I told you so"s.

Yea that's how I feel. I don't know where this dislike for Ratliff came from. He's been here awhile now and i've NEVER heard stories of him faking injuries or anything like that.
