we so desperate for good players we praise them before they even see the field. Ahhhh how once we showered the ones who proved it because we had them on the roster. Even our decent players were good. Now we take hurt players and praise them.

"Maaaaan this guy is sooo awesome , hasnt snffed the field yet and we are already sending him to the hall of fame" "we drafted a great one, sure hes injured, and its pretty bad, but who cares, high end picks are dimes a dozen" "hes going to be so cool because my buddy said so"

You also don't have to respond to any threads about him.

Maybe someone can clarify, I remember reading not that long ago, that he can play with said brace, as long as he regained some nerve regeneration or firing. Would anyone know if this is true? Sorry I can't remember where I read this from...honestly never even thought to save the article, and it was like a paragraph long, it also wasn't very specific to which type of brace, it could have meant knee brace...

ppl around the cowboys seem optomistic. atleast by what theyre told. or possibly see. last i read he was running and cutting - with brace. but who knows? we should be finding out soon. a dude on twitter says he wore brace for 15 months w same injury; not sure jaylons time with it? again its all twitter talk.

lets hope his nerve freakn fires tho. im probably gona get drilled for posting all this twitter talk. ppl hate it around here wen it comes to jaylon

This makes me nervous. Very nervous. Of course Dallas is going to say all of the right things. They invested a 2nd round pick for a guy who may never play again.

Fingers crossed it works out.

Rooting ultra hard for the kid...love to see it come together for him. I think it's still very possible.

Funny how that fact seems to be forgotten.

Bingo,, nuf said.
I'm rooting like al get out for the kid, but until we see Jaylon take the field hopefully in TC, its just all speculation at this point,, but I enjoy the enthusiasm, and positive thoughts go a long way. I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer.

"I'm getting my 4.4 speed back"

Once the Dallas Cowboys work through the first six stages of grief, they'll find they have a whole lot to look forward to.

While players like Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott took the offense to historic heights, the Cowboys' defense isn't exactly short of rookie stars. Cornerback Anthony Brown and defensive tackle Maliek Collins are set to help ascend play on that side of the ball, and then there's linebacker Jaylon Smith.

Oh yes, that guy.

I love this guy's confidence, but quite honestly he should have also added every other member of this year's draft class to his statement out of respect for them. This is especially true of Malik Collins and Brown who were essentially starters and played this year while Jaylon didn't play a down.

And if they suffer a string of debilitating injuries, they could very well have a repeat of 2015.

Just one injury to Zeke and the picture isn't near as pretty. You could lump Dak into that category as well if we trade or cut Romo. It will be a wasted season.

I read a report where a guy said multiple NFL team's doctor's had told the teams that he had around a 20% chance of recovering.

Obviously our doc, Cooper, one of the best in the biz, gave a different diagnosis. But still, kinda wentzed when I read that.
