I'm not railing on Jaylon because thats 100% on the coaches. He clearly isn't ready but they keep trotting him out there.

I don't have any problem going in on the 3 other able bodied players you named. And please dont forget that scrub Byron Jones.

Jaylon can't be worse than Bobby Carpenter. I can't believe so many are down on this guy when he had a major injury and hasn't played ball until this preseason. He is FAR from a bust. The plan wasn't for him to play as mush as he's been playing. Hopefully Lee, Hitchens and Durant can shoulder the load and Jaylon can be the run-stopping, QB chasing linebacker until he gets the passing nuances down. I will admit right now he is a liability in coverage and he is missing opportunities in the run game as well. He will get better as the year progresses and he'll be a much improved player next year.

We aren't down on him as a prospect; we are down on him as being a starting LB for the Cowboys this year when he can't seem to move laterally or anticipate a play and fill a hole......yet
